Rules of Kho Kho
Most American's aren't familiar with the rules of Kho Kho, one of the oldest tag style games in the world. It originated in India thousands of years ago, take a look below at the simple rules of Kho Kho.

Each team has nine players

One Team chases and one team defends

Only one chaser can be running at a time

Chasers can only run one direction

Defenders can cross the center line, but chasers cannot

Chasers can tag a teammate facing the opposite direction to switch places

Teams compete in four, 7-minute innings

Chasers must shout "Kho" when switching places

Chasers earn 1 point for tagging
10
Defenders earn 1 point for every defender who remains for 3 minutes
